Has anyone here came across a sportbook arbitrage opportunity? Seems like it is sort of like BigFoot. People claim it does exist...but does it really?

Sportbook arbitrage?

Yes it is true. I had an arrangement with the Lakeside Casino in Tahoe about 6 years ago. The sportsbook manager was trying to increase his book value so he gave me the opportunity. I use to received .25 cents on the side of the baseball game he wanted me to play. I then sent someone to Harrahs to play the other side. You could not loose and made the money in the middle. Unfortunately it ended when the individual I had working for me took off with the original bankroll after about two months.

Some locals do this.
They are usually the under-capitalized or wimpy type. They get scared if they are too heavily weighted on one side.
I don't know of any Vegas or offshore casinos that do it.
The day of the St. Louis-Tennessee Super Bowl a local I know was way overloaded on St. Louis at -7. He didn't want to move to 7 1/2. He called people who had bet Tennessee and offered them the +7 but at +140!
*******
I also know a local that offers me the chance to bet baseball dogs at an inflated price but only when he has six or seven bets on the fave and none on the dog.
Again, I don't know of any big book that does these things.
