Thats 5 straight sorry you think they are bad for some reason. You're gay too, which Im weirded out by.
It is always a little easier to make an argument with reality on your side. Hard to argue with one conference winning 5 straight National Championships. Especially when it isn't just one dominant program running off a bunch of them, but four different teams in those 5 Championships.
Big 12 just getting weaker too with Nebraska leaving.
I read an interesting article about betting futures like these. Personally I like GB, but as the article stated, in some cases, you will get a better payout in the end if you just start with $100 on the ML and make that same bet the entire way through.
Using GB at 6:1 for example...
If I put $100 on GB this weekend, I would win $125 if they beat Atlanta which means I now have $225. Assuming GB would be at Chitown for the NFC title game, I would think the line is a pick so let's say even money on the ML. If you put that $225 on GB and they beat Chicago, you now have $450. It's hard to project SB lines, but am I that far off in saying GB vs. anyone left in the AFC wouldn't be much worse than a pick so at worst, you're probably getting even money again...and if they play NE or Pitt, I would assume you'd get + money so putting the $450 on GB in the SB, you're guaranteed to have at least $900 if they win.
This doesn't work for every team (NE, etc), but if you like GB, I would go this route instead of taking the 6:1 odds now.
