Bottom line if Oregon cashed in on there chances they would of could of beat auburn.

It was a pathetic game IMO. Auburn did what they needed to do and Oregon didn't do what they needed to do. Auburn won end of story. A few key plays decided this game and auburns defense won this... Not Newton. Hey in all regards this issue is dead.. The game is over.

The big picture is there is just waaaaaaayy too much time between the last game of the season and the National Championship game. Remove 2 games from the schedule (looking a Auburn's schedule, I really don't see the need to schedule La. Monroe or Chatanooga) and have the top 8 teams (btw this year #9 was Mich St., & #10 Boise St.) play in a playoff the last 2 Saturdays in December with the National Championship being played the first Saturday in January. Teams regularly play 14 games a season, what's one more.
