    *** need help?!?! ***

    Okay guys here's the deal I have $1250 ($1050 of my own money + $200 free bonus dollars) to win $1000 on the 49ers to win their division. If they win at St. Louis this Sunday (and Seattle loses at Tampa Bay) they are in sole possession of first place due to having the tie breaker and would just need to beat Arizona at home the following week to win the division!

    With that being said I am wanting to hedge on St. Louis moneyline this Sunday in order to ensure I at least get something because if the 49ers lose this game they are officially emliminated. Now I realize this is risky because if Seattle somehow beats Tampa Bay on the road this week and the 49ers win they are NOT in control of their own fate and would need Seattle to lose at St. Louis in the final game and still beat Arizona themselves.

    So how much would you hedge if you were me in this situation on St. Louis to win this week??

    Oh and by the way I should add that I had wrote off this wager and money all year with how bad the 49ers were so keep that in mind with your suggestion as I feel it's even a miracle I am in this situation...

      Also I really think Tampa Bay (6 pt favs at home) beats Seattle easily as they are still alive for a wild card and should bounce back at home after losing to the Lions last week...

        Why Hedge and give money back? You thought it was lost money for the last 14 weeks anyway so ride it out and root for a niners win Sunday. If you hedge at all, it should be next week.

          Yeah I know what you're saying and I thought that also however $2250 is a TON I mean a TON of money for me and I bet more than I should have on the $1050 (from my pocket) to begin with. So with that being said I dont want to just simply let it ride on a 49ers team that is 1-6 on the road and has given me nothing but sheer anger all season long! I feel like it's a great opportunity for me to get something as opposed to nothing this week on STL because I have absolutely ZERO CONFIDENCE the Niners win this game Sunday and what I have watched all season from them why would I think they can pull it off? As for next week if the division is on the line at home against the lowly Cards the line will be about 8 to 10 so yeah of course will hedge a litte on the ML which would be about +300 or +400

            $250 this week and $250 next week, as you said you'll get more bang for your buck next week.

                    You need to be careful chad because it is very possible that you hedge this week and lose both bets. No guarantee with a hedge until next week where there would be a guarantee if they win Sunday. You could really screw yourself badly doing it this week.

                      Yeah if TB loses I know thats the big risk but I am banking on them winning...
