I know it's total garbage, but 2 things on that replay:

1) As crazy as it sounds, you couldn't tell from the replay if the knee was down. We all know it wasn't but by the "letter of the law," you couldn't overturn that.

2) If the "clear recovery" rule is in effect in CFB too, you couldn't tell from the replay that a USM guy clearly recovered the fumble.

From the reviews I saw, I couldn't definitely tell that a USM guy recovered it. It's just like that brutal review in the Phins/Steelers game from earlier this season.
