  • Broncos/Raiders line

The Raiders is a 6.5 point favorite to be the Broncos at home. Is it just me or is there something fishy here. After all the Broncos received their worst defeat this year by the Raiders. Also the Broncos just got drilled by Arizona 43-13 last Sunday... Is this a trap???

I don't understand your reasoning. The Raiders still have something to play for. While this is shut down time for the Broncos. The Bronco players are not going to go all out and risk getting hurt.

The Broncos are the worst ATS team in the NFL. They've covered 5 games all year and that includes the preseason. I've faded them every game $200 and am up $1100 for the season...

I just heard that Tebow may start this weekend for the Broncos.... So that is probably why the line was taken off.....

                  I stand corrected:

                  Carolina

                  CAROLINA (SU: 1-12 ATS: 3-10)

                  Denver

                  DENVER (SU: 3-10 ATS: 4-9)

Buddy, the reason this game is off the board is after the 59-14 ass whipping
the Raiders gave Denver 6 weeks ago, they can't
get QB Kyle Ortin to dress up and come out of the locker room.
He is scheduled for today to see OB/GYN Dr. Gree C. Fingers to
                  have his pussy checked out...

My local finally put the line up at -8. It's gonna be a long day for Tebow in Oakland tomorrow. This is from ESPN and is one of the possible reasons for making it a gametime decision...

The Broncos are planning on using Tebow and they don’t want to give Oakland extra time to prepare to feast against the rookie.

The game is back on the board. The only thing that scares me is that the line on my book and others books have it as Denver +7... The public is heavily favoring Oakland and the line is not moving.... What does Vegas know????

Excerpted from a writeup of one of the Hilton contestants:

It appears right now that the Raiders are very capable of exposing average defenses, and this week they are going up against the league leader in points surrendered. Last week the dreaded Broncos gave up 43 points to an offense which could barely get out of its way the second half of the season. This Denver defense has only twice this year given up less than 20 points! The last time these teams met the Raiders put up over 500 yards of offense, with 328 of that coming on the ground. Needless to say the Broncos are in serious disarray as they gave up 211 yards on the ground to a bottom five team in rushing last week. The defense is tired and the Raiders will have a very big day come Sunday.

In the first meeting the Raiders were able to lock down the pathetic run game and make the Broncos one dimensional. As a result the defensive sacked Orton four times and he was under duress all game. Look for the same game plan here. The Raiders defensive front will dominate the Broncos and it will be a long day for Tebow. The Broncos have showed that once they get down they have no fight in them and just roll over. Expect the Raiders to have no mercy and roll to a double digit win.

If you like the Raiders and can get -7, I'd bet it. I see 7' pretty much across the board with an 8 and a couple of 9's.
                          Good Luck

Line does look funny and I was thinking upset by Denver.

Was also thinking Cleveland may upset Cincinnati.
