Chad Knaus will stay crew chief for Jimmie Johnson but everything else is switching up.
Crew Chief changes:
Dale Jr----Steve Letarte (was Gordons)
Mark Martin--- Lance Mcgrew(was jr's)
Jeff Gordon---Alan Gustafson(was Martins)

And good news for the 88 fans the 88 will move into the shop with the 48 and the 24/5 will be in the other shop.

When one guy(the 48) wins a championship and the other 3 drivers get 0 wins you can expect someone like Rick Hendrick to make a major change. I like the swap

I'm with YOU Vol...There has to be some reason that JJ is sooooo much better than the 5, 24, and 88...Some of it I'm sure IS behind the wheel but alot of it has to be under the car...Will Jr EVER win again....With this move, I'd say yeah...Happy Thanksgiving...and ignore ToDa

Lets be serious here guys........Jr could have Johnsons crew chief,car,wife,pit crew, spotter,sponsors, house,dog,bank account and he still wouldnt be able to win a championship let alone a race or 2

Who else IS winning championships.He's won 5 in a row so you could say that for the other 41 drivers as well. Jr ain't going to win a championship. I expect him to win a race every year and make the chase.But he's not as great as the 48 or 24 or even 29. Me and KB are both jr fans and I feel pretty confident that niether one of us has ever bet that jr would win a championship. I bet he wins a race but he won't never win it all.
