You'd understand it better if you grew up here. The Redskins are/were an institution in DC, not just the NFL. There is a proud tradition that existed here until the late 90's, and what was left of it was demolished by the cash cow Snyder. It sucks being a Redskins fan because of this guy. Going to FedEx Field feels like going to a neutral site game. No real home field advantage and corporate BS everywhere. RFK was possibly the greatest home field advantage in NFL history and now they play in a 95,000 seat dump with obstructed view seats that sell for at least $100. The Redskins continue to always be the top sports story here even though the Caps are the hottest ticket in town and have the best team in the area. I'd say the late Jack Kent Cook would be rolling over in his grave with what's going on here, but this is partially his fault for not keeping the team in the family.

Nah it's cool. I think it helped his ratings more than anything.

I mean I wouldn't rant that crazy about it or anything but he brings up great and valid points. At this point I'm just resigned to the fact that this team will be mediocre at best as long as Snyder owns the team. Sucks but you're right, it's just a football team.
