question for the forum, all responses appriciated

this past sunday, my guy i call never turned his phone on for the 1 pm games. later in the day he set up a voice mail saying to leave a message for the afternoon/night games. problem is i work on sundays and can only put my action in during the 12-1pm time frame. of course i had enough winners between myself and the 3 other guys i regulary put plays in for to clean off a 700+ debt. the excuse was he was fucked up saturday night and woke up late (1:30 pm) on sunday. i've been with this guy for years and we've always been totally honost with each other on figures and payments. needless to say i'm pissed...what can or should i do ?? thanks in advance.

It's like anything else. If your not happy with the service get someone else, either locally or on the net.

Wow buddy this really sucks.. I mean there really isn't much you can do but pull the business from this guy. Fk if it were me I would of came up with a better excuse than I got fkd up last night as that is just irresponsible and unacceptable.

I don't know what the answer is as you owe the guy cash. I understand you said you would of won but if you go back to him with that he may just say yeah right whatever... Tough spot here buddy... Really don't know what to say.... Is this a guy that turns in to someone else or is he the man? I don't know I have never run into this before...

Find a 2nd guy to call your action into sort of as a backup. If their lines differ on any games use the one with the better line for that game. Ive seen where 2 or 3 local books whould differ on their lines.( Usually a half point to 1 point)

Yeah, nothing you can do but pay him. Moving forward, you always have to have a back up. Good Luck to you.

I had a book like that one time. If I called Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m it was too early and if I called at 11:30 he would bitch about me playing so many games and tying his phone up that close to kickoff. Best thing I ever did was click on one of the banners at the top of this site and problem solved. Everyone of the sites posted above are legit or Monte wouldn't have them on his site I can promise you that.Once you do it you will be glad you did. Good luck

thanks for the reposnses, he offered to whip out my plays from thursday and saturday, putting my figure back to where it was starting the week. i guess thats not too bad. in the mean time i found a second guy as a back up plan.

That is a good thing.. Hopefully that wiped away half your debt.
