Again, just my opinion but GG brings this on himself. The thread Sunday where GG ADMITS he did it to vent AND to lure "haters" in and it worked and then GG got vulgar when the "haters" took the bait. Thats just not right.


It gets EVERYONE pissed and the Mods here try and keep piece with everyone but someone always gets their feelings hurt.

This thread about fixing games - I'm not saying that games are not fixed because I've been doing this a long time and I know for a fact that it does happen - BUT not every time you lose a close game. It seems that anytime GG loses a close game and there is a questionable call by a referee or a stupid call by a coach, it is a "fixed" game. And this is just not the case.

I had Philly Sunday and I blame the Eagles more than the refs. Sure there were "questionable" or "ticky tack" calls but if Philly scores more in the red zone, those calls mean nothing and Philly covers easily. Come in here and "vent" but don't put the blame where most of the time it doesn't belong.

Again, just my opinion, but these threads about games being fixed everytime you lose a close one are getting VERY ridiculous. And when they are started, it invites the "haters" in and starts more shit. Both the thread starter and the ones who come in are wrong, but if the thread is never started, it wouldn't happen.

2) why did he call a time out ? The announcers were laughing saying karl has coached a long time but dont think he has invented a 4 point play

3) you need a miracle 3 pointer and a foul for the tie... Why go for a lay- up...after u call a time out and design a play on the board

4) because the pass was bad the guy had to go up to catch it , come down , and then go up to lay it in...he scored after the buzzer went off...but they counted it

5) after the game while an announcer was interviewing noah you can see the refs checking to see if the basket was late.... ( it was ) .. And they didnt change it

Greek I watched the end of that game and you are exactly right !!!! I had the bulls at 3 differant books and 1 of them paid me with a 94-90 final.. Cause I kept going back and forth between all 3 books CBS and Espn and my pager thinking that they would disallow that last basket cause it was wayyyyyyyyyyy after the buzzer...And that game did hurt but today is a new as Kapt says Lock and Load... Greek, you are right, we have never argued and I am not here to pick a fight, believe it or not, I am not here for that.

I personally do not know Vols except from here on BC. We have never emailed each other but that is not because I dislike him, its just because we haven't. I consider Vols a good guy BUT I also have NO, and I repeat NO, ill feelings toward you because I have no reason too.
I do know Longnex and he is a friend of mine, but I am not responding here to "stick up for him." He is a big boy and can handle himself.

But my point is that in your Sunday thread, when you came in to vent, it was YOU who put in there for the "haters" to come and bash you. YOU did that and you openly admiited in that same thread that you knew it would get Vols fired up - which it did. YOU started that fight, not him.
If you just came in to vent and then Vols came in and attacked you, he would be wrong, BUT by YOU asking for the "haters" to come in, in my opinion, you got what you asked for. And then, when you got what you asked for, you got pissed and called him a "cunt" and a "retard." Greek, that was wrong and you brought it on.

And, in this thread, I just singled you out because you started the thread and I just disagree with you. I don't feel that every close game that is decided by a refs or coaches call means that the game is "fixed." I didn't mean to JUST single you out because that goes for whomever else posted in here. And, again, that is my opinion only, which we all have.

But Vols took the bait that Greek gave him, which started the name calling, which started a pissing match, which got people mad at each other and now some don't post cause they are pissed, i.e., Bryce.

I laughing with you, not at you, because I agree on why you closed that thread. It was getting stupid and I was a part of it because JC and I thread jacked it. BUT, i will say, I did it to try and lighten it up a little so people wouldn't be so pissed at each other. Was it stupid - yeah it was. But it was done for a reason. And JC is still a pole inhaler !!
