I think all sports are fixed .. Ive always thought it was college bball more than anything but it seems that it is going on with all sports now-a-days.. its just bullshit but the only way we can avoid it is to stop betting.. so i guess we ask for it by continuing to place wagers .... JMO
Although I agree with KB above, you usually don't see a TO called to score that meaningless basket.
Anyway....if you're around, I'm pretty sure you're a Chicago guy, they are about to talk about exactly this on ESPN1000. They just "teased it", and said they will talk about it when back. So, if you're around, tune in....
I don't think it's any secret how coaches are so cognizant of the spread these days with all the info out there. I think some coaches like to reward their backers if possible, but to say it's fixed is pretty ridiculous imo.
Thats the NBA for you... I have a couple of friends that play in the NBA and it's funny how some coaches for example on road trips that they are willing to concede a few games on the road. But there are some games that they have to have. All that I'm saying that some of you are right there are more things going on behind the scenes that we know about. Chicago and New Jersey are two teams that bettors need to stay away from, they are terrible.....
teams score meaningless buckets at the end of almost every nba game...
kb...
1) they were down 4 with 1 second
2) why did he call a time out ? The announcers were laughing saying karl has coached a long time but dont think he has invented a 4 point play
3) you need a miracle 3 pointer and a foul for the tie... Why go for a lay- up...after u call a time out and design a play on the board
4) because the pass was bad the guy had to go up to catch it , come down , and then go up to lay it in...he scored after the buzzer went off...but they counted it
5) after the game while an announcer was interviewing noah you can see the refs checking to see if the basket was late.... ( it was ) .. And they didnt change it
