I like Texas and over game one! Separate plays but I think Rangers win game one! This IMO is one of the most intriguing works series match ups in some time! Figured I would start the thread as tomorrow is a slow day plus want to see what everyone thinks before Wednesday rolls around

I'm feeling good Bryce, I got the Rangers at 8-1 in July, and the Giants at 12-1 in August. That being said, I think it's going to be a great series. I do think that the Giants beat a better team to get to the series, they took down: Halladay, Oswat, and Hamels. I just think that the Rangers are better; they're tearing the ball up right now, running the basese, and pitching lights out. If the Phils can steal 4 bases against Lincecum, then Texas can steal 6.

I love this match up, might be one of the best series ever.

Texas in 7 IMO, Cliff Lee will make $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ next year!

I would have to say that overall the Giants have better SP than the Rangers. The Giants have the Best team ERA in the MAJORS: 3.36 and Texas= 3.93
Closer: Feliz V. Wilson--it's really a tie, but I'd have to go with Wilson.
Bullpen as a whole: Again, really close, but I'd have to go with Giants.
Hitting:
Rangers by a mile. Hamilton, Vlad, Cruz. they hit .276 as a team and the Giants hit .257.
Speed: Texas has 127 SB to Giants 55, and I think they'll be running more this series.
FIELDING:
Giants rank 3rd in fielding % and Texas 23.
This series is going to go down to pitching again. I think it will be great. I don't think any of the starters have faced eiher team, so I'm leaning to a lot of unders.

i love the national league but please the lineups are not even comparable , texas will crusch the giants , the giants are not going to win this world series with 1-0 our 2-1 wins agains texas lineup they are going to get killed.

I like the Rangers in 7.

This will be a lot closer than people think as I believe the public is all over the Rangers.
The Rangers have the names but the G-Men have the pitching. I thought that this line would be -160 and is currently at -130.

How about the over/under in game 1 at 5.5? One big inning is all that you need.

Is Timmy going to be effected by his bullpen stint saturday night?
