Posey got my vote, but Im not sure I would say he is better than Jhey. He has been moving everywhere in SF's lineup and is in a little slump, I know he had a 2 run single vs. LAD on FRI though.

I like chris johnson. But he has slumped of late.

Im sure hayward or posey will win it.

To me this isn't even close. It is a CLEAR CUT 2 man race with Heyward and Posey and i think Heyward wins it.

Heyward has helped the braves along with alot of others on that team.he has had the luxary of having alot of different guys step up and make crucial game winning hits or important base hits so the braves being in the running this year in my opinion is a total team effort.with the giants the best hitter in that roster is aubrey huff and posey is alot more valuable to that team and what he offers that what heyward does for atlanta.heyward was on the 15 day dl and atlanta did not miss a beat.if posey went on the dl then the giants would fall out of the race

I agree about johnny venters not winning it because of being a set up man.i honestly dont feel like a set up man should be the rookie of the year. But check out these stats

                            64 games
                            4 wins
                            2 losses
                            1 save
                            19 holds
                            70 innings pitched
                            78 k's
                            1.79 era
                            1 hr given up
                            32 walks

in my opinion i feel like venters has been more valuable for atlanta this year than heyward.

There is not a stat sheet for a guy that comes in with a 3-2 lead and bases loaded 1 out and gets out of the inning without giving up a run.its given a hold in the stat sheet but that does not serve justice to what it meant for the game he possibly changed the outcome of that game and only faced 2 batters and threw 10 pitches
