OK. He didn't start. Not going to play fact check day. Don't have the time. Glad you do.

You still have little answer for no interceptions. Garbage time, mop up time, which I don't give a shit what you call it, in the NFL, the 2nd string players are just as good. Every QB has faced them and you haven't made one statement backing the fact that Smith has done NOTHING in 6 years. He has one of the lowest QB ratings. If Carr is the backup, then when does he get a shot? Zero interceptions in the 9 games he played in. Try and twist it around all you want, but that stat is not changing. And neither is the stat that Smith has been a loser for 6 years on a fairly decent team where all he needs to do is not commit turnovers.

Smith has 9 interceptions in 5 games and a passer rating avg. of 71.

Carr was 30- 45 for 340 yards his last 2 years with the Giants. He had 3 tds and no interceptions and a passer rating avg. of 118.5.

No one is going to know if Carr can do the job because Singletary is too much of an idiot to give him a chance. This is Alex Smith's 6th season as the Niners QB. He's been a bust every one of those years.

Carr is a very good BACKUP QB. He's an average starting QB.

I watch every play of every Giants game. Carr holds the ball too long. His delivery is slow. He's too slow in his decision making. There's a huge difference between Carr reading the play vs Eli reading the play. Watching Carr is like watching the play in slow motion.

Carr's stats were very inflated last season. The Tampa, Oakland and Skins games were complete blowouts by the Giants. Then against Saints and Vikings the Giants were getting blown out. The TD pass vs the Saints the score was 48-20 with about 3 minutes remaining. The Saints were barely playing defense. They were celebrating.

Of course I haven't made one statement backing Smith...Cause I think he blows too.

Where did I ever say Smith was the answer?

Please concentrate when you read it this time...

Where did I ever say Smith was the answer???

Smith isn't the biggest problem. It's the running game. In 2 games they've been held under 50 yards rushing. In 4 of 5 they had 81 or fewer rushing yards. Their pass to run ratio is almost 2:1. It's not like they're falling behind early and are forced to pass. After the 1st quarter they were leading twice and tied twice.

"but I'll judge on 6 years of Starting rather than 2 years of mop up duty."

That SAYS you're willing to continue with this moron rather than give someone a chance who is hungry to play....I read it just fine, three times now!

Carr was NEVER given starting reps in NY nor has he been given that chance here. It's a whole different game when you're not getting the starting reps in practice. Of course you are going to be a step slower and not know the offense as well. Here's all Carr needs to do in SanFran to be better than Smith. Not make donkey turnovers. And he didn't have one interception in NY.

And what's yours? 6 years of mediocrity? An avg passer rating of 69?

One has gotten 6 years to prove himself as THE STARTER in San Francisco and one hasn't gotten a chance at all. I say you give Carr a chance. And that's been my mantra since the first post. He can't do any worse.

                    Smith and Carr both SUCK!

Benching Smith for Carr would be like dumping Roseanne Barr for Rosie O'Donnell. Neither get your pecker hard and it certainly isn't an upgrade!

                      Who is the 3rd stringer?

So? What's your point? And Wayne is a Sox homer and JC is a Louisville homer and KB is a Oklahoma homer and Vols is a Tennessee homer and Club is a North Dakota St homer and on and on and on. Nothing wrong with showing pride in rooting for your school or the players that play there.
