BROOKLYN, Mich. -- Budweiser will be named the primary sponsor for Sprint Cup points leader Kevin Harvick beginning in 2011, a NASCAR source said Sunday.
Richard Childress Racing has scheduled a Tuesday, 10 a.m. ET news conference for a "major announcement regarding the 2011 season and beyond.''
RCR officials would not comment on what the announcement will be.
Harvick has been looking for a sponsor since Shell Pennzoil announced earlier this year it would move to Kurt Busch's car at Penske Racing in 2011.
Budweiser will move from Kasey Kahne and the No. 9 car at Richard Petty Motorsports to RCR's No. 29.
