An executive involved in trade talks for Cliff Lee tells Buster Olney of ESPN.com that a deal between the Mariners and Yankees is "just about done."
It looks like this is really happening. It's a surprising turn of events given the fact that Yankees starting pitching is already pretty darn good, but the Mariners obviously value catching prospect Jesus Montero. The 20-year-old was ranked as the No. 4 prospect in the sport by Baseball America over the winter. Not many teams can top that one.
