Best record means nothing Wayne and you know it...Celtics just cruised thru the season and turned it on in the playoffs. If they played that hard thru the whole season, no doubt they would have had the best record. Smart veteran teams dont care about best records...the year the Rockets repeated way back in the day they were a 6 seed, just waiting for playoffs to begin,

It means a lot because it means you beat every team you needed to during the season and it showed you were VERY capable of doing it.

I dont feel sorry for him either, shit who would...they guy has everything in the world, besides what he wants most it seems a ring...so all this hoopla has a lot to do with him, but also the times we live in. If Jordan played now a days with facebook, twitter, tmz and all this bull he would be hyped even more than Lebron...just look at the ESPN ticker when Strasburg pitches, they update his stat line inning by inning, almost pitch by pitch...telling you who he struck out with a fastball and who he struck out with a change, when they hell have they done that for anyone else...the media builds these monsters...and ESPN is the main culprit

CNBC is reporting that contrary to earlier reports, LeBron James is not expected to make his announcement within the first 15 minutes of Thursday's 'The Decision' show.
Not too shocking, and actually makes more sense if he waits until the end of the show. In other LeBron news, Ric Bucher said on Twitter that of the seven insiders he spoke with today (GMs, agents, team officials), four said he's going to Cleveland and the other three said New York. Despite the fact ESPN has been reporting he's likely to go to Miami, not one of Bucher's sources mentioned the Heat.

If he chooses Cleveland, I'll have a lot of respect for him. That would be a huge sacrifice for his hometown

Totally disagree. Game was tied with 5 minutes left and i'm not convinced they blow a 13 pt. 3rd qtr lead at home. In a game that close, how the hell can you say home court wouldn't have mattered?????

Yes, and both teams had a winning record at home and a losing record on the road in the finals and home court didn't matter? Are you freakin' kidding me???

Come on Wayne, you cant have it both ways...cavs had home court against celts and magic had home court against celts and it did not seem to matter then, they had no issue disposing those teams... I think Perkins had more to do with them losing than not being at home, they could have used his rebounding, I mean you said yourself earlier Kobe had 15 boards, u cant let a guard grab 15 boards being home or on the road

Never compared the 2...my point being that Jordan is and was a HUGE star, so if he played now a days, we would know everytime he took a shit with all this media attention...just like all this hoopla wouldnt be happening if Lebron played in the 80s and 90s instead of now...its more of the times we are living in

When a game is tied with 5 minutes to go, home court matters in the end. If you can't understand how close that is and why it might matter, i can't help you.
