I think it's called a slump Jimmy. The Red Sox had one last year about as bad as the Phillies are having. I think they scored like 1 run in 40 innings.

Halladay pitching in AAA urrrrr the NL is simply criminal. Seriously would major league baseball please ship him back to the AL where he can have somewhat of a challenge i mean come on now. This is a joke. The guy doesnt deserve this. Its unfair. 2 of the best hitters in the NL(utley/howard) are on his own team for christ sake. The guy is just to good. He deserves better than this.

This is more than a slump. They got shutout again today for the 5th time in 8 games...1st time that has happened to this team in 41 yrs. They've fallen to 7th in the NL in runs scored...that's a f'ing joke.

Maybe trade Ryan Howard again like you suggested a few years back. This team struggles every year prior to the all star break. As soon as we get Jimmy and Palanco back look out.

I agree that injuries are killing this lineup, but when Utley, Werth, and Howard go a combined 11-84 over the past week+, there's no excuse for that.
