  • Fantasy baseball folks, Brian Roberts worth #1 waiver priority???

10 team, non keeper. ROberts appears to be down for another several weeks, but this guy was a top 40 player last year and it is a long year. I could play him at flex or use him as trade value later down the road.

Worth using my #1 waiver priority or hold tight?

Thanks Wayne, good call as he actually cleared waivers. Is he worth picking up and stashing for nothing? The 3 least valuable pieces on my squad (besides fucking Carlos Lee and Aramis Ramirez's sorry asses!) are Rajai Davis, Rich Harden, or J.A. Happ to pick him up. Obviously I"m not dropping Aramis or Lee, but what the other 3?

Pitching is big in our league's. Not sure about those guys. Roberts does nothing for me to be honest. I guess if you need a 2B and you can stash him in a DL spot than maybe. Davis is a FA in 2 of the 3 league's i'm in so people don't think much of him. Happ looks like he is still hurt and not getting better. Neither of those 2 do much for me either. I would get rid of Davis of the 2 though. Hitters are easier to find than pitchers!

Decided to go ahead and make this move. Rajai wasn't going to play for me ever anyway, so minus well take hte guy with more upside and potential trade value down the road.

Thanks for the input from both of you.
