NFL Draft Thoughts???

The Brandon Spikes pick is a funny one. Doc Rivers has been talking and joking for at least a month about the Patriots drafting Spikes and how much he was hoping they would. Doc's daughter is dating Spikes at UF and Doc says if they draft him, his daughter will move up to Boston with him and Doc will be able to see her all the time. Well, wish granted Doc, Spikes is coming to Boston!

Well they are smoking crack too according to every team that clearly showed no interest in him until the next to the last round. Even after he was picked, the whole ESPN panel didn't talk highly about him, his weight issues, size and speed.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, many NFL teams had Jonathan Dwyer off their draft boards due to "medical reasons."
Dwyer was selected 188th overall, with Pittsburgh taking the "risk," as Schefter termed it. Though Dwyer tested positive for a drug at the Combine, it was believed to be a ************ medication used for a "pre-existing condition." We're guessing the pre-existing condition -- still undisclosed -- is what had teams concerned. A power back, Dwyer was the ACC Offensive Player of the Year as a sophomore and made first-team All-ACC alongside C.J. Spiller last season. He's clearly a talent, and an absolute steal for the Steelers in the late sixth.
