With Tebow the thing will be whether they get some play out of him as an H-back early while trying to groom him behind the scenes. He may be an asset as something other than a QB early and then if McDaniels can get him to fix some of his stuff he'll be a QB 3-4 years down the road. I think it was a bad pick only because it was too early. Broncos wanted to make a splash and be talked about that's the only reason they jumped up to make this pick. After last year's epic collapse they needed to do something and Tebow's it. They are going to get massive off-season coverage now.

Honestly I thought he would and should go in the high second round. Of course I'm not a draft scout either

In regrads to Teebow, whta I heard was that Buffalo was making serious inquiries about trading up to get Teebow in the first. Denver obviously coveted him, so they jumped to stay in front of Buffalo.

Here is hte problem with all the TE/H-back talk.....guy has not ever played another position. He is obviously a great athlete, but he has to start from page 1 if he switches positions. Anyone seen this guy run routes and catch the ball? Nope. Who knows if he can catch? Plus, when you draft him in hte first round you have to be planning on him being a QB. H-backs are not drafted in the first round. Project TEs that have never played the position are not drafted in the first round. They are going to make Teebow a QB and McDaniel's job will depend on the success of Teebow as a QB.

Personally I have nothing against the kid. I'm not a fan of his b/c I'm a Georgia grad, but it is crazy how much hate there is for him. He stands for everything we should want in an athlete and backs up his persona with actions, not words.

Finally, most of us have a lot of football knowledge, but it is a silly to think we are better player evaluators than the guys that do this for a living. Personally I don't think Teebow will ever make it as a full time starting QB in the NFL, but these scouts and personnel guys know more about Teebow than even the most ardent Gator fan. If there were a couple teams targeting him in the late first, and more as early as the early second, is the pick really that crazy?

Oh, and Dez Bryant was the S-T-E-A-L of the draft. That Cowboy offense will be flat nasty with Witten, Miles, Dez, Felix, Barber, etc. Stacked.

Can not believe the Cowboys got Dez Bryant. There are so many teams that don't even have a legit number 1 receiver. Obviously the garbage teams like the Browns, but what about the Steelers at 18, they just trade Santonio Holmes.

            Wayne,
The Pats had to draft a CB. So many good receivers in the division now and they need help at that position. In Belichick I trust. They still need a RB, I hope they get Gehart.

Don't forget about Roy "the magician" Williams

You can trust him because i'm losing faith. That's all they have been drafting is secondary help the last few years. You are NEVER going to cover receivers with any DB's if you can't put pressure on the QB and he has all day to pick them apart!!!!!!

The young kids they have back there would ALL benefit from a pass rush and the Patriots were one of the worst in the league. You don't need more CB's, you need a damn pass rush to take pressure off them!!!!!!!

Buffalo can suck my dick. Obviously loading up on Rb's because no one could possibly stay healthy for a whole year running behind that sorry ass line.

The team has so many needs I'm not sure where to start

Wasting a #8 on another RB was not the direction I wanted them to go in...

They should trade Lynch for another pick maybe?
