I was just looking at the standings. The 2-5 seeds (Dallas, Denver, Utah, and Phoenix) are all tied at 5.5 games back. The 6,7, and 8 seeds (OKC, SA, and Portland) are right on their heels and tightly bunched. Even this late in the season, it's hard to tell how the western conference playoff teams will be seeded.

i was looking at that also...it's crazy...the suns could have had the fast track to the #2 seed if they won last night, but now they might end up as the 5th seed...
