Anyone ever been to a race at Sonoma?

Being wine country and all, I know there is plenty to do outside the track. Anyone know anything about seating at a road course? The grandstand seating by the start/finish line overlooking the pits or I've also heard about the turn 9 hill where you can see most of the track are two spots I'm interested in. Anyone have any first hand experience?

I live 15 minutes away from it, and have never gone, just driven past it to get my wine drinking on. I do know the traffic getting out of there is a pain the ass.

All southern tracks for me.Atlanta,Daytona,Talladega,Darlington and Charlotte.

I would think if you could find a camping spot where you could see the track would be the best.Hell,with the double file restarts you might go 3 minutes without seeing a car.If you are camping and have a tv hooked up and can watch it on TV until they come by then I would think that would be the way to go.Hell,you could carry on a 2 minute conversation with someone without hollering
