  • Big Winners In Today's NBA Trades

    Biggest Winner:

    Houston!!

McGrady wasn't playing and Carl Landry is only OK. They get half a team for essentially one player.

    Also, the Knicks.
Getting $20 million in cap room with McGrady's expiring contract gives them a huge chance to sign LeBron or Wade.

    Biggest loser:

    The Bulls!

They wanted to add a superstar and all they get is Hakim Warrick and Joe Alexander. Both contracts are small so they don't get enough cap room to go after Wade. They don't improve themselves for this year either.

    Second biggest loser:

    The Kings.

They given up Kevin Martin for Carl Landry????

bulls had 10 million in cap space b4 the trades

salmons goes off the books ( 6 million next year)

all 4 players the got in the two trades have expiring contracts

taj gibson is a stud -- although not as athletic as tyrus thomas .. He isnt a head case and is consistant - a great defender and rebounder

as of now he would be first team all rookie

Bulls weren't trying to get a superstar this year.. trying to clear cap space for the summer
