  • Super Bowl Line Question

Hi all. I see the line went down today, probably because of Freeney. Im taking the Saints. Info I am recieving is that Freeney is going to be out or not effective. Do you think the line is going to go up or down? Trying to decide if I should take it now or wait. Most of the public money is going to be laid down late, I think it is going to be on the Colts regardless. Thanks!

Predicting line moves can be a funny business.

Taking anything between 4' and 5' is virtually the same so if ur comfortable taking that there is no reason not to play it now for the fear of mnaybe getting stuck with a 4 later.

I played it once I saw it get to +5 at basically even money because I had a feeling it wouldnt get to 6 so I played it avoiding the juice.

Just play it now if ur comfortable with the line. If I was going to play Indy though I would hold off and hope it gets to 4 but once it heads back up I wouldnt let it get past 5.5 if I wanted Indy. JMO

It went to 6 but didn't last long at all. I don't think it will get back to 6 and if it does I believe that will be the best/highest that it goes up too.

Arent Bodog and SIA at 6 right now?

I heard somewhere that a few random casinos in Nevada even went to 7 for a little but thats not verified.

I'm the guy who posted he couldn't believe it ever got to 5 1/2.

I am close to two local books. They tell me all they got was Indy action in the two days following the title games and they are getting little action now. They expect late money on New Orleans. I don't think the number will go higher.

I still contend Indy at -5 1/2 is the weirdest line I've seen on an exposed game.

Just want to help you out a little.. If you are taking Saints please wait until gametime. Public money hasnt even spoking yet that wont happen till later on this weekend and public is on the favorite you may get close to 7 by gametime. No way its below 5 at gametime.

I've heard many people say no way this gets to 7 b/c Vegas is leaving way too big a of a middle from the people that jumped all over that opening line of 3.5. Personally I think this line stays at 5, 5.5, and 6.
