If we know about it, it is not inside info. Vegas would have already adjusted the line if people are pounding it.

It may happen, but the NFL is taking this game more seriously than it has in the past.

        Good luck either way

He has been practicing it at Pro Browl practice. No reason for that if he's not gonna do it at least once.

Chad Johnson is probably one of the funniest un-assholish players around. He makes the league fun IMO.

I think he's a whore monger that wants more attention than he's worth. Didn't he get fined for not follow some NFL rules?

                      The list
During the 2005 season, Chad Johnson hung a sheet of paper in his locker titled Who Covered 85 in '05. It labeled the other team's number one cornerback in which Chad would check yes or no. Then, in early November, Marvin Lewis replaced the list with a Did 85 do everything he could to lead his team to victory list.

                      The list asks.

                      Did he study Extra Tape?
                      Zero Mental Errors in Practice?
                      Make a Teammate Better?
                      See all Sights and Hots?
Did He Run After the Catch?
                      Did He Finish in Blocking?
Chad wasn't pleased. He caught five passes for 91 yards -- including a 48-yarder. Chad's original list later returned. To this day, we're not sure if "NO" was ever officially checked.

                      2009 $20k fine, $5k fine
                      2007 $35k fines
                      2006 $5k fine
                      2004 $10k fine

Not a role model at all.

That is such a laughable concept. People think that simply because they watch these guys that they have to be role models. Sometimes they can be just guys trying to have fun. This year one of his fines was for trying to give $1 to a ref as a fake bribe. That's just plain funny. The second was for donning a poncho and sombrero on the sidelines because they werent authorized by the NFL. The man has a great sense of humor and he uses these things to simply challenge himself. The players that I've heard on the radio around here think the stuff he pulls is funny and in good jest.

The list thing was funny too. By both men Lewis and Johnson. Maybe Lewis was trying to make a point. But I think Johnson did it as a challenge to himself.

Personally I couldnt care less about him being a role model. He hasnt got caught using PED's or gotten in legal trouble IMO that's good enough. Having fun along the way is a bonus. Especially in a league where many players and the front offices want to take the lighter side out. Do you think that slapping pies in faces of other players after they hit a walkoff is role model material? How about your beloved RedSox hero Ortiz getting caught using PED's? Or how about the numerous players that get busted every year for DUI's, domestic violence or illegal weapons? These players make great salaries because people want to see them hit a ball farther than any average person or out run the DB to the pylon or see a miracle half court buzzer shot. Role model is something we assign them outside of their role on the court, field or rink that they dont ask for. If you dont want your children to idolize sports figures than show them something else to idolize.

Sorry for the length. I'll get off my soap box now.
