Chad, I know what you're saying Buddy............Most people don't post because they lose, probably 100% don't........I hate posting my record right now but I do anyway......Win or lose I post it and if you ever see my figure is wrong, just let me know..........Less than 2% win at sports gambling...............It's a very hard game to win at, I manage to keep my head above water and I've been betting ball games for 34 years..........It is a pain to keep a record sometimes but I agree with you......I was posting on a couple of different sites and it got hard for me but I play every day of the year except for Christmas Eve just because they don't have games on that day......I had to choose one site to post and I came back here......I will be on the plus side soon in the NBA though, so it's easier posting a losing record now Wish you the Best Buddy, somebody had to jump in on your side.......I've always liked the Underdog

How many of you guys have life/family/girlfriends outside of gambling? It takes enough time away from them to post and study plays. Now were "EXPECTED" to take more time to post our records. Some guys do it some guys don't.If a guy post his record and is 0-26 but then goes 5-0 are you going to jump on his bandwagon? IMO no.Most of us regulars post our "OWN" plays so really the records is for the lurkers to pay attention to anyway.I don't think it's that big of a deal

I know what Chad is saying and if I played all my bets off of OTHER people then yes a record would be nice. But here at BC I feel we play our own plays and when a top dog here plays a GOY or a big play then we add that to our plays. There reputation is good enough without me needing a record.

I quit posting mine only because it really hasnt changed much. Had a bad year in football early so I quit even making picks there and NBA has been basically the same as last year. I'll post what I've done for the year up till now. I just never really thought it would be a big deal to anyone since 80-90% dont do it.
PK
Current NBA record YTD is 26-13 67%No thrills, frills, spills or write-ups. Just givin ya the winners everyday.

I dont post my record cause it sucks.
I dont post too many picks for fear of jinxing them
I see both sides of this but really understand why most dont, it takes time, also, lines change and some get different numbers.......people will claim wins with a fudged number.
Who cares really, focus on it one day at a time and put out your best plays, thats all you can ask for IMO.NBA is a joke

However it does take time to post and I dont think most visitors to this site pay attention to records...This may also be why my pick threads top out at 110 views LOL. Just my .02

I know I do not post plays. I am not a good capper but I do follow some on here. I can understand what Chado is saying. What gets me the most is when a capper does not keep a record but says 11-4 last 15. Ok, how about your plays before your last 15 ? Thanks Chad, good thread.
Btw, I do follow your hockey plays.

Its not that hard to post a record. If you have time to post plays, it only takes a few more seconds to see how you did the night before and add it to your other nights. Just my opinion.2010: 23-12 +37.8
2011: 4-0 + 20
09-11 5*s and up: 34-7
