GOLDENGREEK , I am one of your biggest supporters. But on this one you are dead wrong. That ball was not even CLOSE to being catchable. Bret was hit late 3 times and no flag. Go back and watch the game. IT was really a joke.
they have those yards and plays because the officials are keeping them on the field
Yep, and the Saints had less than 100 2H half yards because of the refs? The Saints didn't have one holding call against them in the 2H and still got shut down on offense. How is that?
They could have EASILY called the Meachen catch incomplete and Easily pushed the ball back on the 4th down run by Thomas cuz he fumbled the ball backwards. It's actually like they wanted Brees and the Saints in the big game, not Favre!!!
Seriously? You thought Meachem didn't catch it? You're nuts. You thought Thomas fumbled? Crazy! What about the PI call on Thomas, you don't really think.....
Pass interference on uncatchable ball when receiver trips himself?
No late hit on the low shot to Favre's knees? If that was Brady, it would have been a 30 yd penalty. Thought the first roughing call was bogus, especially when Brees got hit the same way in OT.
Suspect spots in OT?
Suspect catch in OT?
Don't see how this favored GB in any way.
Overtime is irrelevant in this thread for some reason.....
would have never gone to ot without bad call after bad call for 60 minutes
That's great (if it were true). But why do you continuously disregard OT? Why? Because it makes your argument pointless and proves it drastically wrong.
I think you are expressing your feelings because of your bet, even though u said you weren't...and now what happened in OT just hurt your claim, at least IMO.....Not one bit trying to make an argument, just thought your comments were totally wrong
The vikes were the better team hands down and the saints are a very over rated team.....
So, let me get this right..... They helped for 60 minutes, but then, the turnovers got them mad, so they said "screw them" and turned on them between the 4th quarter and overtime?? Really???? Is this really what you contend?
Farve has now ended his last 3 seasons with a pick as his final play of the game.
HERO OR HILLBILLY ?
You think Brett Favre lost this game? You are to Brett Favre, what Skip Bayless is to LeBron James. Because if he doesn't throw that pick, Ryan Longwell (gauranteed) hits that 52 yard FG. Are you nuts?
6 fumbles (lost 3) and 2 interceptions that kills the Viking, the Championship game you can not lost the ball more than twice. Viking lost the game because Farve too old to run when all receivers are covered.
Vikings lost because of turnovers and Childress' play calling at the end of regulation. Favre was carving up the Saints all day. On their last drive they get a first down at the Saints 33 with 55 seconds left. Instead of letting Favre pass to get closer, since a 50 yarf fg isn't a gimme, Childress has him hand off twice for no gain and then they get called for 12 men in the huddle. Some really bad play calling, poor clock management by Childress and the 5 turnovers cost the Vikings the game.

for the 100th time, CHILDRESS DOES NOT CALL PLAYS...Darrel bevell is our offensive coordinator...CHILDRESS had nothing to do with the play calling....They were running so they could get a last second FG...I don't call that dumb play calling
