Any early thoughts for next weekend's NFL

Agreed. When every TV announcer is ready to crown a team the conference champs after the wild card round I'm really leery.

i agree and i'm hoping the money goes on dallas and moves the line down.

great idea to start this thread harold.

here is what i just posted in my picks thread.

every Wild card game went over the posted total this weekend.
look for a correction from the odds makers here in the divisional round with regards to totals. also note this round we get teams coming off a bye. teams tend to come out a bit flat early. Havent capped any games next week just yet,but look for 3 of 4 go 'under' posted total next week!!!!

i have to dig a little deeper but as of right now. The total on the dallas game looks really really good 46.5 i dont think they get to 44 IMO

the jets/Chargers matchup could be an ugly one as well.

I would normally agree that this week the games would stay under or at least get a 3-1 on the under.

BUTT these refs are getting involved way to much and it seems like you cant play defense anymore.

They love that illegal contact one for a first down everytime no matter if its 4rth and 50.

The long passes fighting for the ball,than another flag comes out for a quick 40 yards.

I am just going to cap them and if I come up with all overs again than so be it but I am not going to try and outsmart Vegas.

Agree with the ticky tac calls in the secondary. It ruins the game IMO.

Larry Fitzgerald runs a defender over to the ground to get open and gets an easy TD and there is no offensive interference.

Spot on, I am busting the unders next week! The Colts not only had a week off but they shut it down the last two games as well. I look for them to come out flat against Balty and Balty runs it down thier throats.

Only thing that scares me is the refs and how much the NFL is in love with Peyton. IF the Ravens dont beat themselves with penalties or turnovers, they are the better team and are not likely to come out flat in this game.

Ill take the Ravens once again this week, straight up over Indy. This team has that chip on their shoulder and plays better than any road team. I believe they can run the football once again and make it a very physical game. Crowd noise wont affect a great running game and they will apply just enough pressure on Peyton to win the game. Ill take Ray Rice over any back thats left in the playoffs and ill take the Ravens defense as well.
