Favre DID NOT come out of a game and then come back in later, because he was losing, that is the difference, why can't you admit that it just isn't right to pull your starter then put him back in especially when your already in the playoffs

Favre and the Vikings actually needed that win for seeding, and they wanted it so they made the decision to go out and play hard until a win was in the bag, they didn't go up by a couple scores take favre out then have the other team come back, and put favre back in.

those are 2 completely different scenario's..... your comparison with brady and favre TODAY makes no sense to me at all.

I'm pretty sure i DID say that when i said i wanted NO starters playing today. The Patriots were playing for the 3 seed today too. Did you forget to mention that?

I didn't FORGET to mention that,I actually will admit i did not know that, i thought they had the 3 seed locked up.

All i will say is i think all Pats fans would have liked you to be head coach today considering you DID state that you didn't want any starters playing. well looks like a lot of guys hit with houston including both of us, that's really what it's all about when the day is done, for me anyway.

I hated seeing Brady play at all today pain. I wanted all of them to rest. I hated it. With that said, i'm not going to wish bad things on a team because of it. Peyton played almost 3 qtrs two weeks ago and they had NOTHING to play for with the 1 seed locked up. They were also going after my Patriots team record of (16-0). I was watching the game and wishing they would pull Manning and as much as i hate the Colts, i wasn't sitting here hoping something horrible happened to him or even thinking he should have been pulled. Every time Indy has rested guys, they screw up in the playoffs and always have. One thing i do believe is that starters SHOULD play til the end to stay sharp. Injuries are a part of life and if they are going to happen, there gonna happen. Do i like them playing? No, but i understand that they wanted to keep them sharp and probably get the 3 seed.

I was not the one who wished physical injury on anyone, three jack. I quoted vols post and said i'll join that bandwagon meaning i hate belichik also, and agreeing with him that i hope the patriots lose in the playoffs.

you make a lot of good points, I'm not going to pretend I know as much about nfl as you because i don't, i just want to make it clear that i wasn't wishing injury on anyone, i see a lot of gruesome injuries on a weekly basis, trust me i wish broken bones on nobody no matter how much i don't like a team or person.

Seriously vols, you don't need to be an Angel to not wish harm on others. Some of us are just wired differently i guess. You act like it is common to wish broken legs on people. Well, maybe where you are from it is but not in my neck of the woods.

vols, I've seen how you get worked up in Peyton Manning conversations here. If i had said the same thing about him as you did Brady, you would react the same way. I simply wouldn't say that about anybody though and i really never expected such a cold comment like that from someone like you either. I really don't have anything else to say about it. There are some people here i would expect it from but you were not one of them. It's not a big deal but it was something i did feel the need to comment on.
