november 3rd, 2005...it was a thursday night game...pitt @ da ville...i had been losing entirely too much money lately, so i dropped a shit ton on this game trying to chase...(think i even posted it here )...to this day, i have never put more money on one game that this one...

i believe i had the cards -20 or -21...the cards return the opening kickoff back for seven, then pitt returns the favor...7-7 14:45 left in the 1st...da ville was only up 2 at the half...

anyways, louisville was the better team and started wearing the fighting wanstaches down to the tune of a 35-20 4th quarter lead...i believe there was a point late in the 4th where da ville could have kneeled, but petrino pushed onwards and kolby smith ran in a touchdown with under a minute to go for the "front"door win...

stupidest bet and biggest score of my life...

the best run i ever had was when nash joined the suns, and the over hit like 18 out of 21 games...suns finals were like 119-112, yet vegas was putting the over/unders at like 201...i rode that wave until vegas started putting the number where it belonged...

one moment inpaticular was when i had a 3-teamer with charlotte (ncaa), the suns, and the over...charlotte won earlier in the night, and the suns were taking care of their end, but the over was struggling...the o/u was 204.5...the score was at 203 with the suns way out in front of the rockets, and whichever barry brother (i think it was brent...maybe rick) that was playing for houston at the time drained a 3 as time expired and i hit the parlay...i jumped through the coffee table out of joy...great gambling experience...

another great run was the NBA finals when it was the spurs and nets...i think the under hit 5 out of 6 games...i was betting way too much and just raking it in as vegas would have the o/u at like 183 and the finals were in the 140's-150's...loved it!!!

Super Bowl 2 years ago I bet the Giants big and the money line big. That last drive was epic...when Tyree caught that ball I almost shit my pants. It was a big money line win!

dec 30, 2009...the idaho vandals at a pick 'em were down 42-35 to bowling green with under 30 seconds to go...they score 6 on an improbable td and go for 2...bg calls a timeout, but the vandals stick to their guns and go for 2 and GET IT!!! 43-42 idaho...

This is the worse beat I have ever had and can't imagine any beat being worse if I gamble until I am 100. October 5, 2003, Monday night game, Bucs against the Colts. This was the year following Tampa's Super Bowl win. Tampa was home and still had a good defense. Don't remember the line but I think Tampa was a small favorite. I recall taking Tampa on the ML for a decent size wager.

Rhonde Barber intercepts Manning with 5 minutes to go in the game and returns it for a TD, making the score Tampa 35-Colts 14. I figure I am in like flint. Colts get the kickoff and Manning drives them down the field. Colts score on a 3 yard run with about 3 minutes and 30 seconds left making it 35-21. Still not worried about losing. Colts recover the onsides kick and Manning goes 58 yards in 67 seconds and completes a 28 yard TD to Marvin Harrison to make it 35-28 with 2:29 left in the game. Now I am starting to get worried. Colts kick off and Tampa goes 3 and out. Colts get the ball back and Manning takes them 85 yards in 5 plays with the Colts scoring the tying TD with 35 seconds left.

In overtime Manning drives the Colts 62 yards with Mike Vanderjagt lining up for a 40 yard field goal. Vanderjagt chokes and shanks it but guess what, Simeon Rice gets called for a 15 yard unsportsman like conduct penalty for jumping up and trying to block the kick and inadvertently landing on a teamates back. Vanderjagt then attempts a 25 yard FG. I sit there and watch it hit an upright and ricochet in for the win. Unfucking believable. Worse loss ever. Ever since then I have rarely bet against Peyton Manning. Manning threw for 194 yards in the 4th quarter alone.
