can't believe that he would go to nfl. meyer is a hardworking coach and just heard on espn radio that it is strictly to get his health better and get his family back. he meet with his team and he says he is going no where. he is not resigning to go anywhere else. i hope he is not lying because that would disgrace what he has done.
i believe that he is being honest and needs to get away for some time. coaching in college requires 100 hour work weeks and never having much time with your family. i know from experience that high school football is the hardest sport to coach in high school because of the hours involved and college requires far more hours and time.
as far as the sugar bowl - bet big time on florida. they will not let urban go out without a big win. i just bet them at 12 1/2 and i think it will go up over 14 easy by game time.Last edited by baseballdave; 12-26-2009, 09:08 PM.jc Wishes He Can Get A Goat

if he is doing it for these reasons, i admire him and wish him the best and the best for his family. according to espn, one of his kids said that they get their "daddy back." if that is true, i say more power to urban meyer. he has been babysitting other peoples kids, now its time to be with his own. i'm happy for him and themjc Wishes He Can Get A Goat
