This can't be a huge surprise. This guy seemed like a pretty shitty person, and people like that often seem to find themselves in situations like this. Some say he had turned his life around recently, I hope he did and made things right w/ people, who knows.
Before you go jumping on me, I am NOT saying he deserved this ending, I'm just saying there isn't one person out there that should be surprised something fucked up like this happened.

ESPN is reporting that Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry has been seriously injured in an auto accident in North Carolina. The Wikipedia page dedicated to Henry is claiming that he died from the injuries he sustained.
ESPN quotes police as stating that Henry fell out of a truck bed in Charlotte, North Carolina during a domestic dispute with his fiance. Apparently he jumped in the back of the vehicle as she was driving it. He was found in the road “apparently suffering life-threatening injuries”.
Henry has been listed on the Bengals injury report due to a broken arm. He has three children.
Our thoughts to the Henry family and the Bengals organization.

tmz initial report for what its worth
Police tell TMZ Henry had been involved in a "domestic situation" with his fiancee, Loleini Tonga, in North Carolina, when she tried to leave her home in a pick-up truck. Cops say that's when Chris ran after the yellow truck and hopped into the bed.
Cops say the domestic dispute continued in the back of the truck until, "Mr. Henry came out of the back of the vehicle."
We're told when cops arrived to the scene, Henry was still in the middle of the road, and suffering from "life threatening injuries."
According to KYPost.com, Henry is believed to have suffered "severe head injuries."
Henry was transported to a local hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment.
We're told a crime scene unit is currently at the scene conducting an investigation.
Henry has not played for the Bengals since November, when he broke his forearm during a game.
