The NBA commissioner had a big sit-down with SI.com, during which he did the unthinkable. The Donaghy stench has hardly lifted from the NBA landscape and Stern admitted that he was open to entertaining the idea that there will come a day when there will be nationally legalized gambling on NBA games.
"It's fair enough that we have moved to a point where that leap is a possibility, although that's not our current position," Stern said.
Not current, but maybe in the future. That's how we read it.
