Max bets at Las Vegas Sportsbooks?

Just curious as to what the max bets were at sportsbooks in Vegas as I have never wagered in Vegas before. I am not even certain there are max bets but I would imagine that there are. Are they similar to what the max bets are online? I use BetJamaica and the max wager ranges from 1k to roughly 5k pending on the wager (NFL game spread, 1st half, 2nd half, CBB etc)

There really is not a purpose for this question, I am not asking because I am planning on making a HUGE wager or anything like that..I was just curious how things were run in Vegas, seeing as how I have never wagered that way before.

i've seen people bet 5k without much problem on nfl sides at caesers.

im sure limits are much much lower for hoops, especially college.

I think 1985, some one bet $1,000,000 on San Fran. wins Super Bowl and he won.

there is really no max bet on a game except totals....2,000 max bet on a total in any sport!
