I may be biased but Suh is every bit the equivalent as Gerhart or Ingram from a defensive perspective. Major game changer and dominant. Not to mention he probably played more snaps because of NE lack of offense. He is truly an animal. But all 3 are worthy in my opinion. Tebow and McCoy are out.

If there ever was a year that a defensive player was going to win the Heisman it should be this year. Suh has been a monster all year and with there not being a clear cut favorite from the offensive side if I had a vote I would vote for him. However I would have no problems if Gerhart won it.

I like Gerhart, but I dont think he has a shot....there is zero Defense in the Pac-10....that will be his downfall...I'm an LSU graduate and die hard Tiger fan...Take Spiller for example, went against an average S.Car Defense two weeks ago and he did NOTHING...Defenses too tough in SEC!!!

IMO - I think Ingram will win, but I do like Gerhart!!!

Ingram's 1,542 rushing yards would be the fewest by a Heisman-winning running back at the time of the ceremony since Archie Griffin had just 1,357 in 1975.

McCoy's 27 touchdown passes would be the fewest by a Heisman-winning quarterback since Vinnie Testaverde’s 26 in 1986.

            I voted for Gerhart.

I would like to see Gerhart win but I think the pac 10 stinks defensively and his team was 8-4

So in that case I would give it to Ingram for what he did in SEC and really only had 1 bad game and tehy are undefeated and I always think the best player on the best team should win.

I think Stat wise Case Keenum and Kellen Moore are better than Colt McCoy so I would not vote for him.

Suh is the best player in college football and if I was starting a team he would be my first pick but I dont think defensive players should win heisman.

                  So Ingram it is.

They are so that gets rid of him, i think everyone kinda agrees Tebow doesn't deserve it because of what he has done in the past.

I disagree that it should be ingram just because of the conference, the dude is great but Alabama looked fine with the backup richardson in there, and If McElroy doesn't throw that TD pass to beat auburn, they are probably not playing for national title and i'm not so sure everyone would be automatically sold on ingram. He did rip the gators.

So that leaves me with Gerhart and Suh... I'm gonna go with gerhart, but at the same time nebraska doesn't win many if any games without Suh. I just think without Gerhart stanford has a freshman QB 1 or 2 good tight ends, and 1 pretty good WR. Both backups to Gerhart did nothing compared to when he carried the ball behind the same offensive line......Give it to Toby ! Suh would be cool too.

I go with Gerhart. The dude put up monster numbers. He had his best games vs ranked opponents.

I am fine with Gerhart, Suh, or Ingram, but definitely pulling for Suh! Dude was double teamed most of the year and still did what he did. If Nebraska didn't have him, the season would have been a long one for the Big Red.

I like Gerhart's toughness, consistency, and his work ethic, too. And just throw the 2 qb's out of the picture. I will be utterly pissed if McCoy is in the top 2.

If we are going by stats than Case Keenum won the award already and no one else should be invited.
