The 1st couple of years i only had 3 groups (A,B,C). Everybody ended up with the same lineup after about 6 weeks. I added a 4th group the last few years (A,B,C,D) and it made it a little better but people STILL ended up with very similiar lineups in the end and it was hard to catch somebody. I tweaked it last year and added 2 resets so you could change your whole lineup and be different. Next year i'm going 1 step further. It will have 5 groups (A,B,C,D,E). Yup, i'm doing it and the wife will have to make it work on the sheet!

The 1st few years i had Johnson, Stewart and Gordon in group A and i'm going back to that in 2010. It worked better than any other combo and the Stewart/Johnson/Gordon fans out there seem to divide those 3 up the best. No matter how much Kyle Busch or Edwards won last year, nobody wanted them this season for the most part.

As far as Jr goes, i think he is going to be a D driver (15-20 range) next year.

Thats going to be even better.I can promise you there won't be no 1,2,3,4,5 finishes.Hell Spark don't know shit and got a 1,2,3,4 finish this past year

These groups are not based on who "I" think is equal in talent. They are based on what i think people will have the biggest conflict with in a group when trying to pick a driver. Way too many Gordon backers in group B this year. Move him to group A again and it isn't "As" easy for Gordon or Hendrick fans to have Johnson and Gordon.

48,24 and 14 looks like a solid A class.I think the 24 is tired of the 48 kicking ass and that 24 team is going to work it's ass off to get Gordon a championship next year

And people forget how dominating Stewart was in the 1st 26 races. He had a huge lead before the chase started and the reset in points took place!

IMO the way Burton finished the season he might be picked every wek as a D.It's tough though.If you have a E flight I guess your looking at Logano,Keslowski,Ambrose and maybe Mears or Truex?

E would be probably Ambrose, McMurray and two of these ... Keselowski, Mears, Truex, Logano or Reutimann. Have to research more. I know Mcmurray is moving to the #1 i think and truex is going with who? The Waltrip team?? Which car is Keselowski driving? Is it the 12??

Yes Truex to Waltrip and Keselowski to the 12.That 12 team has been bad but I think Penske puts alot of time into that team.IMO Hornish in the 77 is the odd man out.The 2 and 12 will be getting 99% of the attention.
