What is a teams record ats their first game back at home after a long rood trip

i rememer that i would bet against teams their first game back and they would do poorly


if you can break it down by the length of the road trip it would be great

4 games, 5 games up to 8 games i think it goes

Long road trip 5+ games = First game back with plenty of distractions (family ,bills ,getting settled , etc.) which usually ends up with the Home Team playing poorly.

I seen on another site someone posted stats from midway through the 06-07 season til this year the 2nd game off a 4+ game road trip is 174-248-9 ATS

Oh i agree Bryan but that is what we were given to base our opinions on. I too think it seemed good as you may have seen by my NBA East/West thread. I'm surprised the numbers are not better.

Home team with no rest or 1 day: 188-163
With 2 days rest: 52-75

Above is example of another misconception in the NBA. Most NBA bettors would expect the rested home team with 2 days rest to play better. However, rested teams are often flat.
