This weeks lines and totals are out. Anyone ever seen anything like this?

Line# 127 Ohio State: -44
Line# 128 Total: 48

Wouldn't it be worth a shot at taking New Mexico State and the over? The only way you lose is 47-0, 46-0, 45-0.

You are risking the juice unless it lands on these numbers. What am I missing?

based on the spread, is vegas not saying that the score will be 46-2??? so the nms team o/u should be 2

It may also be worth putting OSU -44 and the over as the first two teams of a 3 team parlay. IF OSU covers, the over is almost guaranteed. The same cant be said for the opposite.

Those scores wouldn't be a cover. Any scenario where OSU covers, the game 99% of the time goes over.

Basically you can get two teams for the price of one in a parlay. Because if OSU comes in the over is almost guaranteed.

Exactly, 44 seams like a lot but you if you take it, and pick some other game, you get a 6-1 pay out for picking two games.
