I have been watching hockey all night so didnt see anything until I checked the box score now. Are you saying he took Lackey out when he hadnt given up any runs and Oliver gave up the 6? Wow just wow now I remember why I stopped betting baseball in June...OMFG trims would be going bananas right now just typical. All about the relievers eh? Like clockwork taking the starters out at a certain inning or pitch count regardless of how they are making out huh?

Exactly...Lackey begged to stay in. He takes him out, and Yanks score 6. First pitch by Oliver gets drilled for a base clearing double. Unreal.

Not to mention that Lackey had one out and a 3-2 count on the batter and got screwed on a 3rd strike by the ump. Pitch tracker showed it was an easy strike on the inside corner. Inside corner is exactly where the ump is set up. How does he miss that? Lot of bad umping this post season....
