The Twins get a raw deal here. Congratulations Minnesota you have just won the AL Central and are now in the playoffs. You burned your entire bullpen and one of your better starting pitchers. To reward you we will send you to New York to play in less than 20 hours.

Anyone else think this is bullshit? Have them play on Thursday given the circumstances. They work so hard to get to this point and now enter their 1st playoff game with a depleted bullpen and a tired team. The Yankees have been able to relax/rest at home for the last 4 games. Oh well. Twinkies are going to get steamrolled tomorrow.

What bugs me is, the people who do the schedule for MLB and NFL know there is a possibility that an extra game may be needed to finish the baseball season, but they schedule a Monday night football game which forces the Twins to play Tuesday rather than Monday? Any MLB team that shares a field with a NFL team, take note.
