I said or implied it is not the same, but it is still very exciting and entertaining, and even more so including the stakes here.
Sure the team which wins will probably get swept in the next round, but that doesn't detract from the fact that is truly a great game to watch especially for baseball aficionados.

Detroit would be able to start Jackson in game 1 and Verlander in game 2. They would no doubt have a better shot IMO.

If it was just a regular mid season game, it would be considered a great game and one of the best games of the season-obviously what is riding here just adds to the greatness.

i know its 8:30 local time there. figure they leave minnesota by 11:00pm 2hr flight lose an hour for time change get in at 2am local time hotel by 3am at the stadium by 3pm tomorrow yikes!!!
