Question for experienced cappers

My book has Boise State - 7 1/2 (120) for the game.

They also post an alternate line of BSU -8 (100)

Is this just a mistake? It seems like the odds of the game landing on 8 is worth risking the 20% juice.

Any possible explanations would be appreciated. I know the odds of a college game landing on 8 are greater than pro, but I can't see why the book would offer this.

Hoping this game doesn't end on 8. Maybe it is a trap

I would take the discount of the juice and lay the 8 points. If it were say 7 to 7- or 6- to 7 then maybe not.
