          IMO it was the right call. The last view they showed immediately prior to the FG clearly shows he lost control of the ball and it hitting the ground.

            I seen that view also...clearly showed the ball rolling around on the ground.....

              The officiating overall has been poor in week 1. That call was a classic example. And it took them about 10 minutes to make that poor decision. I'm willing to say they are a little rusty just like some of the players but based on how bad it was overall last year, I'm willing to bet it doesn't improve much this season...

                The last view they showed from the back left corner of the end zone clearly shows the ball briefly roll on the ground.

                  there was a call or two in the early game that made me go....UMMMMMM!

                    NFL officiating is always horrible however that specific call was definately the correct one....

                        Yeah, that is correct. Per the rules it was incomplete. WHen you leave your feet to catch you have to hold on "through the ground" and he did not.
