The oddsmakers have this game with Colorado at -3' with a total of 55. You would think that a Big 12 team would be spotting more to a Mac West "also ran." But people got a good look at Colorado last week and most did not like what they saw.....a limp team at best. They have no rusher that can seriously put big numbers on the board, but Toledo gave up 178.3 y/g on the ground(9th in the MAC) last season.
Let me cut right to the chase without having to list a bunch of bullshit stats. Toledo has Morgan Williams and DaJuane Collins. Between them they put 11 TDs and 1710 yards on the boards last season. Whoever can rush the ball effectively in this game will, or should, win the contest. Neither team is a great threat thru the air, and Colorado has a decent pass defense(1st in the Big 12 last season, but they won't come near to that in 2009). There is a lot of talent on both of these teams, but tonight I give the edge to Toledo with the +3' points.
