  • Tiger Woods tantrum again

One of these days he is going to clock someone with a errant toss. Hurry to watch before Nike has it removed from youtube.

Remember the article by Rick Reilly about Tiger. Gives Reilly more to feed on.

YouTube - Tiger Woods Throws Club at Barclays

I doubt Steve Williams, his caddy has the balls to say " go find that club yourself !"

Just wonder why he doesn't get fined by the PGA. any other sport they would. Tennis player busts his raquet, basketball player throwing the ball, etc...

He will get fined but the PGATOUR does not release the details of it. Tim Finchem may not have the balls to fine the almighty one.

I love watching the guy play but Jesus, what a bad example for kids.

If thats true that they fine him and don't say anything, that blows. I'm old enough to have watched many a great player have his bad rounds, and keep his temper in check. Never saw Jack, Trevino, Arnie, Miller, well the list is endless, do this stuff. Does he really know what the age of ESPN and internet means? Now the kids watching think it's Ok or worse ("Like Tiger") acceptable to throw clubs, bury your wedge in the turf etc...They need to make it hurt, tell him he can't play in the next major, money means nothing to him

            Agree 100%

I put out a Happy Birthday thread to Arnold Palmer who turns 80 this week. Total Class act unlike BabyTiger.

You can read Tiger's lips most every putt he misses an obcenity follows - God------ is on of his favs.

He has been caught many times on TV with profanity, burying clubs into turf, throwing clubs. Rick Reiily wrote an article about this and is right on target. And I am not a Rick Reilly Fan at all.

                Vols,

Throwing a club is not like throwing an elbow pad. People have been hurt bad by a club throw gone wrong.

Remember Judge Schmales nearly killed that woman on the patio with that infamous toss.

Profanity is part of any sport but Tiger has to know all eyes are on him. I dont mind the profanity as much as throwing the clubs and destroying the turf when he buries one in the ground.

It is disrepecting the course and setting a bad example to kids who will think that behavior is cool.

I see your side of it Flare but he threw the club at the ground and the people were nowhere around.Look how far the film was taken away. Also a preacher MIGHT have an argument against him but for the rest of us it's the normal.Like I said if the worst thing Tiger does or my own kids for that matter is throw th F-bomb or something like that out every once in a while, I will be a happy father.I respect your opinion Flare,I guess we just see this different

You just see everything thru Tiger colored glasses

John Daly has done a lot of godd and generous things for people that know one will ever know. Difference is Finchem has no problem busting his balls, when will he sit down Tiger......never.

Vols, I can see a lot of guys in other major sports doing what you describe...Can you give me some examples of other golfers doing it on the PGA?

I can't because the cameras all follow Tiger.Like I said I can see yalls point but it's not that big of a deal.Lets spend our time arguing about something that really matters. To me Tigers character is not a major issue with me

                            Vols,

Tiger is now a Billionaire, it is the least he can do to give back some of his time to the kids. Keep in mind his Tiger Foundation takes in plenty of monety from corp sponsors. Their are a lot of unsung heroes in that alone. I admire a lot of what he does, but for a guy that prides himself on perfection, maybe he can work on this character flaw some day.

I aint just his club throwing and cussing,

I still remember Steve Scott in Tigers last US Amateur win against him. Scott had him down the whole match until Tiger squared it on the 35th hole and eventually won on the 38th hole. After he won, Scott comes over to shake hands and Tiger turns away and hugs his Dad. Scott stands around waiting and never gets a look or a handshake after battling for hours with him.
