Happy 80th Birthday to Arnold Palmer

I know its early - Arnie turns on Sept 10th.

This man is truly the king of golf and all those on tour now should be thankful what he did for the game.

I met him once about 30 years ago and still remember it well. He looks you in the eye, is a gentlemen all the way.

Just saw an interview with him on TV and he was at his hospital in Orlando visiting Annika Sorenstam (who just gave birth to her first child).

The guy takes time out for everyone he can. Super class act!

By the way, Tiger and Annika are great friends and Tiger who lives in Orlando has been seen at the hospital twice also.Arnold and Tiger both are great class acts

Long story made short as possible: 1997 Grand Forks, North Dakota gets hit by a huge flood, big fire starts burns half downtown, nobody can stop the fire, most expensive natural disaster til catrina hit New Orleans. City Golf course is lost to a corp of engineer dike, yadda yadda, Arnold Palmer donates his 1 million dollar design fee to build a new golf course.

Tiger is a GREAT athlete........however he is an even bigger NERD. No way he gets that hot chick if he were a construction worker living paycheck to paycheck (nothing wrong with construction)

Saw a great show last night on the golf channel chronicling his life from childhood on.

Great stuff, even you non golfers should watch the King of golfs story.

Maybe it will play again not sure.
