For the football season. Similar to "Kaptain's Konsenseus Kruise."

Week in and out, everyone posting their 2-3 favorite or (top) plays, and tabulating "Consensus" Picks by all the cappers here.

Please post here if interested. I think something like this can really help the forum over the course of a season.

It can work as we had a team in the Hilton contest that came in 4th place years back.

We would rank plays 5pts down to 1pt then add or subtract for the same plays or opposite play to come out with the actual plays.

Excellent, I like that idea very much.

I hope we can get enough people interested enough to make this work. I will track the interest and start it this weekend in hopes to get more and more people each week.

I was in a CBS forum years ago where this was done, and it was very effective. The difficulty is finding someone that is willing to track it all. If that man is you Mavs, you da' man!

I'll contribut to it MAVS.....It's the same as the KRUISE, excepting how you rate a play when you have 5 for team A, and 3 for opposing Team B.......or do you just want to show total picks for each, and let one decide.....

you need a lots of picks for it to be effective....In the KRUISES case, when 50-60 were posting, it HIT LIKE HELL....stayed on fire...why the members quit posting in it, I don't know, but it went downhill real fast when the picks were from 15-25 members only....not a true picture, but basicly most popular cappers were throwing em out there....

I'll post my 3 picks or whatever you deem, as soon as you say when/where....

Lots of work compiling....It really helps us when others would help with compilation, and state inclusive of what post.....

next poster or a few down,could update when he/she posted....really mitigates your efforts and time, when others help out....

There's always a couple, 3, 4, 5 etcc., willing to help out....

It can be one hell of a tool....

Yes Monte, CFB and NFL.

Here is how I want the plays to work (if you have a better idea, input is welcome).......

6 plays from everyone (3 from each league NFL/CFB). A 3*, 2*, and 1* for each league.

Plays will be decided by total number of *s each play has.

You can enter plays (like the Kruise) up to an hour before gametime, maybe a half hour.

If Team A plays Team B, and two people have opposing picks, the plays will be adjusted.

Example:

Joe: 3* on Team A //////// Steve: 2* on Team B

Now Team A is a 1* play.

Obviously a 1* or anything even up to a 6* isn't a very strong play, but when people start agreeing and get into double digit *s (10* - 20*) the plays should be strong.

However, as it stands right now. We have 10 interested posters. We will need more in order for this to be productive....
