• August 31, 2009 It's Official -- Parlays Only for DE: A federal appeals court today confirmed that Delaware's plans for a new sports betting lottery will be limited to parlay bets on professional football games only. Bettors at the state's three racetrack casinos will have to pick the winners of at least three separate NFL games in a single wager. Delaware had been counting on sports betting to generate about $53 million a year to help plug a nearly $800 million budget deficit. "The state's attorneys are reviewing today's written opinion from the Court of Appeals and we will be discussing our legal options with them," said a spokesman
