Tech has one that i really, really like!!!
We won't agree that Alabama sucks BUT I think everone will agree that Virginia Tech special teams have helped us cover more games then any other team in football.Everytime I go to bet against VT,most of the time I change my mind cause there can be a 7-10 point swing on any given punt or FG

'Bama is easily over rated and they showed that in their bowl game. How much was that mighty SEC team favored by in that game? ... and they got their ass kicked. Wasn't even close. They had another big game in the SEC title game and they choked there too.

They are by no means an explosive team and they play the kind of game Va Tech loves!

I'll feel better about 'Bama once they face the familiar SEC schedule but i don't trust them FOR A MINUTE against a team like Tech that will put pressure on them from both sides of the ball and special teams, just like Utah did.

I fucked up the stat vols and was looking at the wrong team!

I still have no faith in them to lay that many points though!

And I'm sure a great coach like Nick Saban has thought about that all off season. It's hard to make major changes during a season but I can gurantee that the defensive problems at the end of the season HAS been taken care of.I'll be on Alabama and you will be on VT.Good luck and time will tell whose right

It don't matter Wayne. That defense gave up WAY to many points (34 to Fla in the SEC Championship and 31 to Utah in the Sugar Bowl) in it's last 2 games.Saban will have it fixed IMO

That's one of the games that really jumped out at me

              Baylor +1

The other is Illinois -7 over Missouri

Im looking at a total that looks pretty tempting. Cent. Michigan vs Arizona Over 53 1/2, the only hold up is waiting to see who Az qb will be. Both teams run a spread offense, and Cent. MI qb is one of the best in the country and will put up numbers, and the way Cent MI defense played last year it might not matter who the qb is at AZ.

My first reaction was Illinois and Troy.

While the Evans injury hurts, the Hokies have a ton of depth at RB. Ryan Williams is a stud and will get his chance to shine. If he can't get it done, Ogelsby, Wilson (freshaman stud) or the recovering Kenny Lewis can step in. Evans just came on last year. Yes he will be missed and was the leading rusher, but the Hokies have a strong O line, and a QB that is as good or better of a runner than all the backs on this team anyway. I'm not that concerned about the loss. This doesn't change the game plan for Bama IMO. It's going to be more about blitzing the hell out of a freshman QB and covering Julio Jones. Not to mention the usual Beamer Ball on special teams. I'll be at the game so I'm hoping and thinking we put on a better show than those choking dogs from Clemson did last year.

It's had to descibe what the effect is of having the stands so close to the field, hell the fans damn near sit on the benches.

                            GO POKES

Look, I'm a realisitc Georgia fan and certainly admit Oklahoma State can beat Georgia. However, to predict they can do it by 4 TDs is just plain silly.

In the last 10 years Georgia has played approx 130 games and has lost 1 game.......ONE.......by 28 points or more, and that was last year to the National Champion Gators. Your Cowboys are no Florida Gators.

Another game I really like a lot is Oregon +6 over Boise State. Boise upset Oregon at Oregon last year. The Ducks are looking for payback. I think they will win this game straight up so the points are a bonus.
